What kind of photography do you do and how did you get to where you are today?
I am a luxury wedding and lifestyle photographer based in California, and my work today is very design-driven, emotional, and cinematic.Getting here was not a straight line or an overnight success. It has been years of refining my taste, rebuilding, and making intentional choices about the kind of business and life I wanted to create.
Like most photographers, I started by taking on everything. Over time, I realized what I was truly drawn to: beautiful textures and light, strong composition, and images that feel elevated yet deeply human. At some point, I stopped chasing trends and started trusting my own aesthetic. That completely changed the direction of my work and the clients I attracted.
There were seasons where I had to pivot and rebuild. Those moments forced me to define what I wanted my brand to stand for and how I wanted to show up. As my style and confidence grew, I stepped into higher-end weddings and more editorial, design-driven projects.
Today, sustainability matters just as much as success. I shoot a high volume of work, but I also want to protect my energy and stay creatively inspired.

How have you optimized your workflow in recent years?
In recent years, I have been very intentional about building a workflow that supports both quality and longevity. Earlier in my career, I did everything manually, but I realized that approach was not sustainable - especially when consistency is critical for my brand. I standardized every step of my process, from file organization and culling to delivery.
Editing remained the biggest bottleneck. Training an AI profile with Neurapix completely changed that. It allows me to maintain my exact color and exposure style while handling the bulk of edits quickly and consistently. Instead of spending days behind a screen, I can now focus on creative refinements and quality control.
For me, optimization is about building systems that protect both my standards and my sanity.

What general tips do you have for other photographers?
Focus on refining your taste and fundamentals before chasing growth. Strong light, composition, and consistency will always matter more than trends. Do not be afraid to take creative risks and pivot when something no longer feels aligned. Build systems that support your creativity instead of draining it. Be intentional about the kind of work and life you are building.
